Four Shot, One Dead on Bloody Sunday in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – Four were shot, and one killed in Baltimore shootings on Sunday.

At approximately 6:45 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to an area hospital to investigate a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment. When officers arrived at the hospital they observed a 23 year-old female suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Northern District Shooting detectives assumed control over the investigation.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers heard gunfire and beg and canvassing the area. Officers soon discovered a 37 year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics were summoned and the victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.  Shooting detectives assumed control over the investigation.


At approximately 2:02 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers was dispatched to the 2500 block of Hollins Street to investigate a reported shooting. Responding officers located an unidentified male suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics were summoned and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Homicide investigators have assumed control over the investigation.

At approximately 12:16 a.m., a Southeast District patrol officer heard gunfire coming from the 1700 block of Eastern Avenue. The officer located a 31 year-old female suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the shoulder. Medics were summoned and the victim was transported to an area hospital.
