Police seek to identify these burglars wanted for commercial break in

PHILADELPHIA, PA – On Friday, November 5, 2021, at 5:22 a.m., 26th District police responded to a commercial burglary at the listed location. The police met with the maintenance worker who stated he came into the building located on the 4xx block of Memphis Street to perform work when he noticed the recreation room had a substance spilled onto the floor. When he walked into the mailroom he noticed multiple packages have been torn open and items missing from inside. When the maintenance worker went to check the front door of the building and noticed several pry marks on the metal framing of the door.

Surveillance video depicts at approximately, 1:05 a.m., four unknown black males wearing black clothing entered through the front door by prying it open with an unknown object. Once the suspects gain access into the building, they went into the mailroom and began opening up packages and removing items from inside. Then the same offenders went into the recreation room where they began throwing a substance and attempting to dismantle the surveillance camera. The offenders then fled the area with the items stuffed inside their pockets around 1:59 a.m.
