NEW YORK CITY, NY – If New York City Mayor-elect Eric Adams gets tough on crime, Black Lives Matter leaders say they will once again take to the streets and burn the city down and riot.

“If they think they are going back to the old ways of policing then we’re going to take to the streets again,” Hank Newsome, founder of the New York City chapter of Black Lives Matter told Adams during a meeting this week.

“My streets must be safe,” Adams said. “I’m going to visit a mom who lost her 10-year-old to violence.”

Despite agreeing with BLM leaders on social issues and programs, Adams remained firm in his commitment to fighting the rising rate of crime in New York City that surged under Bill DeBlasio.

BLM told Adams they will hold him accountable and he in turn told the group he will hold them accountable for violence in the city.
