Fountain man charged with 5 counts of sex abuse and violence against girl since she was 9

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a Fountain man on November 8, 2021, for Sexual Battery. Andrew Lamar Wilson, age 48, was charged with five counts of Sexual Battery Victim over 18 with Force.

The BCSO was contacted by the victim on October 29, 2021. She stated she wished to report a series of sexual batteries. The victim stated that the sexual abuse at the hands of Wilson began when she was nine years old, when she lived outside of Bay County. BCSO investigators are working to notify other law enforcement agencies about the alleged abuse.

The victim stated that five other instances of sexual battery had occurred after moving to Fountain, Florida. According to the victim, when she resisted Wilson, he would grab her by her hair or strike her on the face with his hand until she complied.


Contact was made with Andrew Lamar Wilson and he was arrested and taken to the Bay County Jail.
