Police say rumor of a possible threat to Brick students was unfounded

BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ – School officials and police in Brick are dismissing a possible threat to students at Brick Township High School after an investigation found no credible threats.

Police issued the following statement:

The Brick Township Public Schools in conjunction with the Brick Township Police Department have concluded their investigation regarding an alleged Brick Township High School incident. The result of the investigation found that the accusation was unfounded and that there is no credible threat. As always we thank the Brick Police Department and Chief Riccio for their efforts regarding this matter. Brick Schools is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all our students, staff, parents, and community.
