ELLICOTT CITY, MARYLAND – A married father of two who plays a variety of Maryland Lottery games just found success — again — with a Racetrax Superfecta wager.

The Ellicott City resident enjoyed a $15,241 Racetrax win earlier this month on a 20-draw ticket. The maintenance worker stopped for gas at Ellicott City Exxon and placed a Superfecta bet that the horses numbered 2, 6, 10 and 8 would cross the finish line together in that order. And on the 14th of the 20 races on his ticket, they did!

“I was very happy,” said the winner, who said this is his second-largest Lottery prize to date. The Howard County resident won about $20,000 years ago on another Racetrax Superfecta ticket that featured a 2, 9, 10, 6 combination. His other favorite Lottery games are Pick 3 and Pick 4Mega Millions and Powerball.

The Lottery retailer that sold the winning Racetrax ticket also benefits. For selling a winning ticket of $10,000 or more, the retailer located at 4235 Montgomery Road in Ellicott City earns a bonus of $152.41 from the Lottery, equal to 1% of the prize value.
