New Jersey Armed Robbery Suspect Captured in Maine

Portland, ME – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) announces the arrest of Mackenzie Brennan, 24, in Saco, Maine. Brennan was wanted by the New Jersey State Police on an arrest warrant charging Brennan with armed robbery which occurred in 2019.

Information was developed by the U.S. Marshals Service that Brennan had fled New Jersey and was residing in the State of Maine. Yesterday afternoon, members of the USMS Maine Violent Offender Task Force located and apprehended Brennan near a grocery store in Saco, Maine. Brennan was taken into custody without incident.

At the time of his arrest, Brennan was wearing a ballistic vest and in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun, 3 loaded magazines, a knife, and a set of brass knuckles. Brennan was transported to a local jail and charged as a Fugitive from Justice, pending his extradition back to New Jersey. The U.S. Marshals Service Maine Violent Offender Task Force is comprised of members of the Maine State Police, Maine Department of Corrections, Biddeford Police Department, and U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.
