Couple who shot at police in Portland arrested

Portland, OR – On Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 5:26p.m., Portland Police officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of Northeast 92nd Avenue and Northeast Halsey Street on a wanted suspect. The suspect eluded officers in the vehicle. The vehicle’s tires were deflated with spike strips, and at least two occupants jumped out and ran. As the suspects ran, officers heard shots fired. No officer was injured.

The investigation revealed that at least one round struck a Portland Police vehicle, damaging the passenger side rear view mirror. Multiple shell casings were found at the scene (photo) and seized as evidence. No officer was injured. No shots were fired by police.

On Tuesday evening, November 23, 2021, members of the US Marshal’s Fugitive Taskforce and the Portland Police Bureau’s Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) located and arrested Christian Daniel Fitz-Henry and Alicia Marie Misner, aka Alicia Marie Bruno, at an apartment in the 600 Block of Northeast 101st Avenue.

Fitz-Henry was lodged at the Multnomah County Detention Center on his warrant for Attempted Murder in the First Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Alicia Misner was lodged on her warrant for Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle and Attempt to Elude.
