BROOKLYN, NY – A man who stole an unoccupied school bus in New York City took that bus on a car crashing rampage throughout Brooklyn on Thursday. Police said the suspect is in custody and no details had been released other than the suspect and one victim sustained minor injuries.
New York City Police officers stood defenseless in the street as the man rammed into cars in a Brooklyn street as he sped away, crashing through and pushing multiple vehicles out of the way. Police later tracked down the bus using its onboard GPS unit to 148th and Jackie Robinson Parkway.
The incident happened at around 4:15 pm when the driver stole the bus from the East Flatbush neighborhood.
