Three arrested on warrants in Lacey

LACEY TWP, NJ – Three people have been arrested on warrants according to the Lacey Township Police Department.

Motor Vehicle Stop/Warrant Arrest: On Friday, November 26, 2021, at 10:45 pm, Officer Dylan Emmett conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Route 9 and Haines Street in Lanoka Harbor, for no head lights on. The driver, Jacquelyn Smith, age 30, was found to have an outstanding no-bail warrant from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department. As a result of the warrant she was arrested and transported to the Ocean County Correctional Facility without incident.

Motor Vehicle Stop/Warrant Arrest: On Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 1:51 pm, Officer Michael Hyle conducted a motor vehicle stop on Laurel Boulevard in Lanoka Harbor.  The driver, William Frank, age 77, was found to have a suspended driver’s license and an outstanding Berkeley Township Municipal Court warrant.  W. Frank was transported to headquarters where he posted his bail in full. He was issued a motor vehicle summons and released.


Motor Vehicle Stop/Warrant Arrest: On Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 8:06 pm, Officer Martin Julian conducted a motor vehicle stop for speeding near the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Route 9 South in Forked River.  Investigation at the scene revealed that the driver, Zalika Hamilton, age 26, had an outstanding warrant.  Z. Hamilton was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters.  She was later released on her own recognizance after being issued a motor vehicle summons.
