BUENA VISTA, NJ – Three New Jersey State Troopers were called to duty to help an expectant Buena Vista mother deliver her baby inside her Atlantic County home.

At 1:56 p.m. on Sunday, Troopers Nicholas Pellegrino, Vincent Caporrino, and Christopher Scarlett responded to a call for a medical assist for a woman in active labor.

When police arrived, the woman told them she was ready to give birth, so the troopers laid her down and got her ready to deliver a beautiful baby girl. Both mom and daughter were then transported to Inspira of Vineland where they are both recovering in good condition.
