Fully vaccinated, masked up, and boosted, Elizabeth Warren pops positive for COVID-19

U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren has announced she’s contracted COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated, boosted and regularly wearing her facemask.

So far, she said, her symptoms are mild and it’s not sure whether she was infected with the delta or omicron strain of the virus.

“I regularly test for COVID & while I tested negative earlier this week, today I tested positive with a breakthrough case. Thankfully, I am only experiencing mild symptoms & am grateful for the protection provided against serious illness that comes from being vaccinated & boosted,” Warren said.

The positive test came just an hour after Warren continued her attack on wealthy Americans and business owners.

“Giant corporations and the super wealthy need to pay their fair share so we can invest in lowering costs for working families. I’m fighting hard for child care, preschool, climate action, and to lower prescription drug prices. We cannot give up on the American people,” she said.

Warren did not say when or where she may have contracted the virus.
