Five Shot in Baltimore on Bloody Sunday

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – Five Separate shootings left several wounded on December 26, 2021.

At approximately 9:35 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 2400 block of Greenmount Avenue, for a Shot Spotter alert. Once in the area, officers located a 22-year-old male, in the 2200 block of Greenmount Avenue, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. At approximately 12:00 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 900 block of Patspsco Avenue, to investigate possible gunfire. Once there, officers located a 37-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital where his injuries are believed to be non-life threatening. At approximately 2:34 p.m., Central District patrol officers were called to the unit block of North Eutaw Street, for a report of a shooting. Once there, officers located a 28 year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Investigators believe the victim was shot by an unidentified suspect following a dispute. At approximately 8:30 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers were called to the 3700 block of Midheights Road for a report of a shooting. Once at the location, officers located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Northwest District detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2466 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-688-7lockup.

At approximately 11:15 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 5700 block of Wabash Avenue, for a large crowd of vehicles on a parking lot. Once there, officers heard gunfire in that area and vehicles fleeing from the lot. Officers located a 23 and 24 year-old males suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers immediately rendered aid until medics arrived on the scene. Both victims were transported to area hospitals where they are listed in stable condition.
