Kamala Harris says COVID-19 is “Not anyone’s fault”

As Democrats blame unvaccinated Republicans for the most recent COVID-19 wave, Vice President Kamala Harris said this week that COVID-19 is not anyone’s fault.

“I don’t think this is a moment to talk about fault,” Harris said in an interview. “It is no one’s fault that this virus hit our shores, or hit the world. It is more about individual power and responsibility and the decisions that everyone has the choice to make.”

The Republican National Committee responded to Harris’ claim,  “Wrong. It’s China’s fault.”

Many Americans believe the COVID-19 virus, initially referred to in 2019 and early 2020 by the media as the “Wuhan Coronavirus“, originated in a virus research lab at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in Wuhan China.

Later, then President Donald Trump referred to the virus as the “China Virus” and the “Kung Flu”.
