Ocean County records 872 new cases, a record and testing center booked through January

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Ocean County recorded 872 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday and booking at the Ocean County College testing site is now booked solid through the end of January. The report by the Ocean County Health Department represents the highest single-day COVID-19 positive total since the start of the pandemic.

In Ocean County, most stores have sold out of at-home test kits and most testing centers are booked solid well into the New Year.

When it comes to vaccination, across Ocean County most vaccinations sites are booked solid into the first week of January.
