TOMS RIVER, NJ – The Ocean County Health Department has recorded 1,813 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, shattering past daily counts on record since the pandemic began.
“The Ocean County Health Department (OCHD) is reporting 1,813 new positive cases today in Ocean County. The additional cases bring the total number of positive COVID-19 cases to 106,051 as of 8:12am Wednesday, January 5, 2022 between the Ocean County and Long Beach Island Health Departments,” the Ocean County Health Department said in a statement.
