Kamala Harris hires vaccine critic, Biden antagonist as new communications director

Jamal Simmons has a lot to say, but now he will be saying it as the chief communications officer of Vice President Kamala Harris. After a mass exodus of staffers in recent weeks as the Vice President’s favorability continues its decline, Simmons will pick up where Ashley Etienne left off after she resigned from the Harris team in December.

Simmons has been an outspoken critic of President Joe Biden, Donald Trump and COVID-19 vaccines. Simmons has called the COVID-19 vaccine effort, “janky”, meaning a product of poor quality and unreliable.

“Trump’s fatally ill-managed Coronavirus response seems to have turned voters off to him the way Katrina destroyed Bush’s political reputation, but pushing a janky science vaccine into the public for political purposes would turn incompetent culpability into intentional harm,” Simmons tweeted in 2020.

It was a time when even his boss, Kamala pushed anti-vaccination conspiracy theories.

When asked if she should take the COVID-19 vaccine before the election, Harris said, “Well, I think that’s going to be an issue for all of us. I will say that I would not trust Donald Trump.”

He also said President Joe Biden was not welcome at the black bbq, saying he was just a ‘plus one’ at the party.

“I think #JoeBiden’s heart is in the right place but I just heard the perfect summation of his position. “Black ppl are happy to have Biden at the cookout but he should remember he didn’t get the original invitation on his own. He was a plus one.” Don’t get too comfortable,” he tweeted during the 2020 Democratic primary election.

Simmons also called for the arrest of two undocumented immigrants after being featured in an MSNBC News segment, “Just saw 2 undocumented folks talking on MSNBC. One Law student the other a protester. Can someone explain why ICE is not picking them up?”

Simmons worked for Kamala Harris during her campaign and has been a staunch ally of the Vice President.
