TULSA, OK – A Tulsa man has been charged for human trafficking and rape.

“Earlier this week, we received information about 29-year-old Darrius Johnson and his involvement in pandering/human trafficking.

According to the victim, Johnson has forced her into prostitution in Florida, California, Texas, and in Oklahoma City. Johnson told the victim he was coming to Tulsa to force her into more work. The victim also says Johnson raped her,” the Tulsa Police Department said.

Investigators learned Johnson would be in a Dodge Challenger, and on 1/6/2022 just after midnight, the Tulsa Police Helicopter spotted Johnson and the vehicle in Tulsa.

Officers arrested Johnson and took him into custody.

Johnson was arrested for Pandering AFCF (After Former Conviction of a Felony) and Human Trafficking. His bond is set at $700,000.

As the investigation continues, Johnson could also face a rape charge.
