Bernie Sanders wants Americans to mask harder and boost N95 production

In light of the CDC and multiple health agencies claiming that cloth, non-surgical face masks and neck gaiters do not prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is calling on Americans to mask harder. Sanders is calling to use the Defense Production Act to mass-produce N95 face masks in order to protect Americans from the fast-spreading omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus.

“Not all face masks are created equal. N95 face masks are far more effective than cloth masks in preventing the spread of COVID,” Sanders said. “We must utilize the Defense Production Act to mass-produce these masks and distribute them to every household in the country.”
