FDA Director: Most Americans are going to get COVID, plan for the worst

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Food and Drug Administration Director Janet Woodcock today gave a grim look into America’s near future, declaring most Americans will get COVID-19. Woodcock said the government must now plan for the worst to lessen the impact of COVID-19 related sicknesses, closures and hospital capacity problems.

“It’s hard to process what is happening now, which is most people are going to get COVID,” Woodcock said. “What we need to do is make sure hospitals can still function, transportation, other essential services are not disrupted while this happens.”
