Hyattsville Man Finds Lucky ‘9’ for $50K Win

HYATTSVILLE, MARYLAND – A Prince George’s County player only needed one special “9” on his $5 Find the 9s scratch-off to win the game’s $50,000 top prize. He found it!

The 55-year-old revealed all of the symbols on the 15 rows of his game and there was the “9” hiding in row 13 between a heart symbol and vault symbol. The Hyattsville resident found his lucky game waiting for him at Stop 4 All located at 4606 68th Ave in Landover Hills.

His Lottery retailer wins, too. The Prince George’s County business will receive a $500 bonus from the Lottery for selling a top-prize winning scratch-off of $50,000 or more. Find the 9s went on sale in June 2021 with eight $50,000 top prizes. Three top prizes still remain along with more than 460,000 unclaimed prizes ranging from $5 to $5,000.
