Fort Walton man wanted for 2021 shooting murder

FORT WALTON BEACH, FL – An Okaloosa judge has signed an arrest warrant for a Fort Walton Beach man in connection with a fatal shooting that took place on Vincent Lane the evening of March 17th 2021. Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office investigators are now hoping the public can help in the search for the suspect.
20-year old John W. Galvao-Sahb is wanted on a count of first degree premeditated murder in the shooting death of Earnest Riggs Jr.
Witnesses had spotted a young man dressed in black walking toward the truck and shooting a handgun directly at Riggs, who was sitting inside the vehicle. The shooter, later identified as Galvao-Sahb, then ran from the scene.
He had an address on Patio Road in Fort Walton Beach prior to the murder, but left the area shortly afterwards.
