Murder suspect with “No F—ks” tattoo identified by police

AUSTIN, TX – The Austin Police Department (APD) has identified Rony Adaly Hernandez as the victim of the homicide in the 4500 block of E. Riverside Dr.
 
On Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at approximately 4:28 a.m., 9-1-1 received a call of a man being shot in an apartment located on the 4500 block of E. Riverside Dr.  APD officers along with Austin-Travis County EMS arrived on scene and discovered a man with obvious trauma. Despite lifesaving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased at 4:47 a.m. by Dr. Escott. The man has been identified as Rony Hernandez. 
 
Homicide investigators and crime scene technicians responded to the scene to interview witnesses and process the scene. Through investigation, homicide detectives were able to identify a suspect that had fled the scene prior to police arrival.   
 
On January 19, 2022, the Travis County Medical Examiner’s conducted an autopsy and determined the official cause of death as gunshot wounds and the manner, homicide. 
 
On January 19, 2022, at approximately 1:15 p.m., the Lonestar Fugitive Taskforce arrested Evaristo Aguirre for an outstanding Family Violence/Strangulation warrant. Aguirre was booked into the Travis County jail. On January 20, 2022, APD homicide detectives filed a First-Degree Murder warrant on Aguirre. Bond was set at $100,000 for the Murder warrant and $30,000 for the Strangulation warrant.
