SILVER SPRING, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section have arrested and charged 23-year-old Ahyende Harold Gray, with the January 14, 2022 robbery that occurred in Silver Spring.
On January 14, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Gray entered the Capital One Bank in the 8300 block of Georgia Avenue, with one hand behind his back as if he possessed a weapon, and made statements to customers indicative of a robbery. Gray fled the scene without obtaining any property.
Officers from the 3rd District located Gray near the Capital One Bank and he was arrested without incident.
Gray was charged with robbery and armed robbery. He was transported to the Central Processing Unit, where he is being held without bond.
