D.C. Police Search for Robbery Suspect who Assaulted Victim

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, in the 300 block of Tingey Street, Southeast.

At approximately 11:43 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect then assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspect then fled the scene.

The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera.
