Gunfire erupts in Baltimore Saturday morning, one dead

BALTIMORE, MD – Gunfire erupted again on the streets of Baltimore, this time taking one life.

On January 22, 2022, at approximately 11:20 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 4000 block of Walther Avenue, for multiple calls of gunfire.

Upon officers’ arrival, they located a 30-year-old male, unresponsive, inside of a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim’s vehicle had struck multiple parker cars before coming to a rest at the location.


The victim died at an area hospital. Homicide detectives are investigating this incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
