Brick Police Department warns of coastal flooding, announces higher ground parking

BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ – Tonight’s impending blizzard is expected to produce coastal flooding in low lying areas of Brick Township’s waterfront properties. The Brick Police Department has issued an announcement to residents and an invitation to park their cars on higher ground.

“We expect some coastal flooding from the storm. For those residents living in low lying areas near the water, please feel free to park your vehicles in the following parking lots,” the township said.

Available parking areas include the overflow parking on Rt. 35 at Brick Beach III, Angela Hibbard Park, Edmund Hibbard Park, and Windward Beach
