Browns Mills man charged for breaking and entering at local Dollar Tree

PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP, NJ – On 02/01/2022 at approximately 7:31 am officers were dispatched to the Dollar Tree located at Pine Grove Shopping Plaza for a report of a burglary to the business. Upon their arrival, officers found that someone had used a large rock to break through the glass on the front door of the business, enter the business and take merchandise prior to leaving.

Officers were able to review surveillance footage which showed that the burglary occurred at approximately 5:48 am. Further, officers were able to immediately identify the suspect as Dylan Meisner, 20, of Browns Mills as they had previously conducted a well-being check on Meisner on Juliustown Rd at approximately 7:03 am when he was reported as a suspicious person in the area.

Officers went to Meisner’s residence where they made contact with him, recovered the stolen merchandise from the Dollar Tree and arrested Meisner. Meisner was charged with Burglary by Entering a Structure, Theft by Unlawful Taking and Criminal Mischief with Damage.
