Rhonda Exum, the mother of Adrienne Sophia Exum, 19, who was killed by an illegal immigrant drunk driver, says she’s extremely disappointed in President Joe Biden. Adrienne’s cousin, Tranette, says it feels like no one cares. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says President Biden has betrayed Americans.

Sophia was killed by a drunk driver at 1:30 in the afternoon by an illegal immigrant who was driving drunk at the time, just north of Houston, Texas.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, an altercation broke out between two males outside a bank parking lot. One male hopped in a car driven by a 19-year-old Sophia. As she left the area, her vehicle was struck by Heriberto Fuerte-Padilla, an illegal alien who was driving while intoxicated. Padilla attempted to flee the scene of the crash but was captured by deputies a few hundred feet away.

“[She was] ejected out of the vehicle into the roadway,” Harris County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Aric Albers said. “Her head struck the roadway and she sustained a significant injury where she ended up dying on the scene.”

Padilla was charged with drunk driving and fleeing the scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash. He was set to be deported from the United States, but this week, the Biden administration canceled that deportation order.

He won’t be deported under the Biden administration’s order to reduce the number of illegal immigrants being removed by the Department of Homeland Security. Padilla has essentially committed murder and will get away with it. On top of that, he’ll continue enjoying the American freedom and life he stole from Sophia.

“While the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) initially wanted authorities to deport Fuerte-Padilla after Texas issued its punishment, the federal agency changed its mind because the individual does not qualify for priority deportation under Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ new rules issued in September 2021,” the Daily Mail reported.

Under Biden and Mayorkas’ immigration policy, Padilla is no longer considered a priority deportation candidate because he does not have a “severe” criminal record due to his charges.

“My first reaction was why?” Sophia’s mom Rhonda Exum said. “I really want to know why”

“I feel like they don’t care,” her cousin Tranette said.

“Joe Biden is betraying our country,” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said. “It’s hard to understand why, but the answer to why is they have great goals than saving members of American families.”

Her mom said she voted for Biden but now is disappointed with the President after his first year in office.

“Look out for the American people first,” her mom said. “This was literally my first time voting and I voted for you and I feel disappointed right now. I don’t understand. I thought he was going to talk for the American people and not for himself. He’s done absolutely nothing. I don’t feel he has done anything but disappoint.”
