Two shot in Atlantic City, one in critical condition

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Two men were shot in Atlantic City on Tuesday and one of those victims is listed in critical condition at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.

On February 1, 2022 at 10:36 PM, patrol officers responded to the 500 block of north Indiana Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter alert. Patrol officers arrived in the area and located evidence of gunfire, but a victim could not be found. Moments later, officers were alerted that a shooting victim, 28 of Vineland NJ, arrived at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Shortly after, a second shooting victim, 27 of Atlantic City, was located suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, where he is listed in critical condition.
