Lottery Luck Creates Two $50K Winners in Saturday Drawings

CUMBERLAND, MARYLAND – Congratulations to our newest $50,000 winners in Bonus Match 5 and Powerball. Players in Allegany and Prince George’s counties bought lucky tickets in the Saturday, Feb. 5 drawings in the two games.

Check your Bonus Match 5 ticket for a top-prize win if you bought it at Love’s Travel Stop #537 located at 13300 Ali Ghan Road Northeast in Cumberland. The winning numbers were 10, 11, 17, 18 and 38; the Bonus Ball was 32. This is the eighth top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 ticket sold in 2022.

The $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold by Marlboro Village Exxon located at 5111 John Rogers Boulevard in Upper Marlboro. The winning numbers were 5, 16, 27, 39 and 61; the Powerball was 24. No one hit the jackpot, which rolled to an estimated annuity value of $147 million for the Feb. 7 drawing with an estimated cash option of $100.3 million.

Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. Winners typically get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes.

Players must redeem prizes larger than $25,000 by mail or at Lottery headquarters in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330 in Baltimore. The Lottery’s Claims Center in Baltimore is open by appointment only (no walk-ins). Click here to schedule an appointment. Winners can also drop off a winning ticket along with a completed claim form and copies of their photo ID and proof of Social Security/Tax ID number in the Lottery drop box in the Montgomery Park Business Center lobby.
