On a Whim, Baltimore man Wins $100,000 top prize on Bingo X10

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – A fan of the Maryland Lottery’s Pick 3 and Pick 4 games, who was on a mission to buy his numbers game tickets, got a feeling suddenly that he should try a scratch-off.

“It was on a whim,” said the Baltimore man. “Something said to buy that game.”

The game in question was a $10 Bingo X10 4th Edition scratch-off that he purchased at NP Liquors in Dundalk. The 69-year-old grandfather scanned the instant ticket using the Maryland Lottery app on his smartphone to reveal his $100,000 top-prize win. Being a low-key person, the winner said he reacted quietly when he realized he won big.

The anonymous winner said he plans to put his prize in the bank for now.

His lucky Lottery retailer can also celebrate. For selling a $100,000 top-prize winning scratch-off, Baltimore County’s NP Liquors located at 2317 North Point Boulevard earns a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery.

The Bingo X10 game went on sale in May 2021. The scratch-off has three remaining unclaimed top prizes, along with eight unclaimed $10,000 prizes and 22 $1,000 prizes.
