Meth’d out murder suspect dropped female victim at hospital then crashed his car

DALLAS, TX – A man who was high on methamphetamines shot and killed a woman in a motel room, then dropped her body off at the local hospital. The woman was pronounced dead and two hours later, police captured him after he was involved in a motor vehicle crash.

Dallas Police report on Friday, at approximately 2:37 p.m. a 41-year-old white female was dropped off at an area hospital by the suspect, Alexander Escobar, a 31-year-old white male.  The complainant suffered two gunshot wounds and fresh bruising to her face. 

“The suspect abruptly left the hospital after dropping off the complainant.  Approximately two hours later the suspect was brought back to the hospital by DFR after he crashed his vehicle while trying to overdose on methamphetamines,” the Dallas Police Department said in a statement. “Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that the suspect shot the complainant twice while at the motel room prior to her being transported to the hospital.  The suspect was arrested and transported to Jack Evans after he was released from the hospital.  He refused to speak to detectives and will be charged with murder.”


The circumstances surrounding the motive for this murder are still under investigation.  Next of kin has not been notified for the complainant.
