When you think of ice fishing, images of fisherman camped out all winter long inside huts in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan come to mind. You might also think of people in the far north in Alaska and Canada drilling a hole in the ice and going fishing. You probably didn’t think New Jersey would be a spot for viable ice fishing. A YouTuber who runs the Sport Fishing New Jersey channel has proven to us all, that ice fishing is possible in New Jersey. During the trip to a private lake, he caught some bass and pickerel.
