Baltimore Police Make Arrest in Shooting Death of 34 Year-Old in Robbery Gone Wrong

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – On May 31, 2021 at approximately 7:33 p.m., a 33-year-old male was assaulted and a 34-year-old male was shot and killed inside a dwelling in the 1900 block of W. Fayette Street.

Homicide detectives learned that this incident occurred as the result of a robbery gone bad.

After a lengthy investigation, detectives were able to identify the shooter and obtain an arrest warrant.

On February 7, 2022, homicide detectives arrested 32-year-old Steven Arthur of Woodlawn, Maryland at Baltimore Police Headquarters.


Arthur has since been charged with 1st Degree Murder and is now in Central Booking awaiting trial.
