62 Year-Old Shot in Northwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – On February 22, 2022, at approximately 1:51 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 3800 block of Belvedere Avenue to investigate a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 62-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot to the left thigh. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was walking in the 5200 block of Cordelia Avenue when he heard gunshots. The victim started to run and realized that he was shot.

Northwest District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
