PLEASANTVILLE, NJ – The Pleasantville Police Department was unexpectedly made aware of a march scheduled for Wednesday, February 23 2022 at 5:45 PM. The march is in support of Irving Guzman who was found dead in the marsh just east of Centerfolds. The march will begin at Centerfolds Cabaret and conclude at the Pleasantville Police Department.

The family and friends of Irving Guzman will be attending a hearing presented to Pleasantville City Council Members, during the public council session. This hearing is regarding the possible revocation of Centerfold’s mercantile license.

A spokesperson for the Guzman family advised that the event will be peaceful and it’s expected to have approximately 1000 participants. While we have no reason to believe that the march will not be peaceful, we do anticipate traffic delays in the areas of Delilah Road, Franklin Blvd. and north Main Street. We ask that our motorist consider alternate routes during these times to assist the Police with providing safe travel for both motorist and pedestrian commuters.

The Pleasantville City Council meeting will be streamed live on February 23 at 630 pm.
