D.C. Police Need Your Help Identifying Suspect in Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metro Police Department in Northeast D.C. is searching for a suspect involved in a shooting and attempted murder of an adult male that occurred on Saturday, February 19th on Bladensburg Road.

According to Police, “At approximately 7:29 pm, members of the Fifth District responded to the report of a shooting inside of a building at the listed location. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.”

D.C. Police captured a photograph of the suspect. Detectives reiterate, “Anyone who can identify this individual or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.”
