ANNE ARUNDEL, MD – Police in Anne Arundel are investigating after a body was found discarded in a parking lot behind the Gonce Funeral Home.
According to the Anne Arundel Police Department, “On February 27, 2022, at approximately 10:00 a.m. officers responded to 4001 Ritchie Highway for a body located behind the business.”
Police officers arrived on scene and found a male, deceased with trauma to his body.
“Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased male with apparent trauma to his body. A Forensic Investigator from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) and Homicide Detectives responded,” the department said in a statement. “The victim was identified as Devin Scott Freeman a 19-year-old male. Mr. Freeman was transported to the OCME for an autopsy where the cause and manner of death will be determined.”
