Baltimore Shooting Victim Later Passed at Hospital

BALTIMORE, MD – A 25-year-old was found shot by Baltimore Police Department officers thanks to a Shot Spotter alert, but their efforts to save the man’s life were unsuccessful. Officers and medics rushed the victim to the hospital who suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim later died at the hospital.

“On March 1, 2022, at approximately 4:50 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the unit block of South Carey Street, for a Shot Spotter alert,” the Baltimore Police Department said. “Once there, officers located a 25-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he later died.”
