Memphis Rape Suspect Arrested by U.S. Marshals Task Force

Memphis, TN
– U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces the arrest
of Johnnie Facison for Aggravated Rape and Aggravated Kidnapping.

On April 11, 2021 in Memphis, Tennessee, Facison allegedly entered a
home and at gunpoint assaulted and kidnapped his victim. After holding
her for several hours he allegedly committed sexual assault on her. A
warrant was issued for the arrest of Facison for Aggravated Rape,
Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Domestic Assault, Aggravated Burglary,
and Violations of Bond Conditions.

This fugitive case was
adopted by the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force.


Earlier today the Task Force, the Shelby County Fugitive
Apprehension Team and officers with the Memphis Police Department,
Airways Precinct, went to a residence at the 800 block of Vance. Facison
was located there and taken into custody without incident.

“A
horrific crime demands a strong response. The Marshals Service is
thankful we were able to assist in capturing this fugitive,” said U.S.
Marshal Tyreece Miller.

The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent
Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency task force in the Western District
of Tennessee with offices in Memphis and Jackson. Its membership is
composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies,
Memphis Police Officers, Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies, Jackson
Police Officers, and Special Agents with the Tennessee Department of
Correction. The primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest violent
offenders and sexual predators.
