San Juan, PR
– U.S. Marshal Wilmer Ocasio-Ibarra announces the
arrest of Juan Sierra Jimenez, a dangerous fugitive and main suspect of
a shooting that left five people dead.

On October 14, 2019 a drug
related shootout took place in the Ramos Antonini public housing project
where five people were shot and killed. According to the Puerto Rico
Police Bureau (PRPB), the main suspect was Juan Sierra Jimenez. Sierra
Jimenez was on supervised release at the time of the incident.

Puerto Rico Violent Offenders Task Force (PRVOTF) investigators quickly
began searching for Sierra Jimenez based on violations of his supervised
release conditions.

Sierra Jimenez was featured as one of the top
ten most wanted in the District of Puerto Rico.

On March 22, 2021
PRVOTF and PRPB agents located the residence of Sierra Jimenez in the
Jardines de Selle public housing project, where he was placed under
arrest without incident.

An AK-47, Glock pistol, narcotics and a
large amount of U.S. currency was also found in the residence.

“This is another significant arrest since the new initiative led by the
U.S. Marshals took place. We will continue working closely with our
state local law enforcement partners to make our streets and communities
a safer one” said U.S. Marshal Wilmer Ocasio-Ibarra.
