– The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) New Orleans Task
Force (USMS Eastern District of Louisiana) along with the New Orleans
Police Department, LA Probation and Parole, and the Orleans Parish
Sheriff’s Office are currently looking for non-compliant Tier 3 Sex
Offender (lifetime sex offender registration) Alfred “Al” Anderson (DOB:
08/18/1987, 5’05” 160 lbs.) on multiple felony warrants. Anderson was a
target fugitive for Operation Boo Dat 2021, but investigators were
unable to locate him during the operation and USMS investigation shows
he is receiving aid in hiding from associates in the New Orleans metro
area.

Anderson was convicted of Simple Rape and Attempted Simple
Rape in Lafayette, Louisiana in 2008 and is required to register as a
sex offender for life. In 2014 he was convicted in Lafayette, LA of
felony Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. He is currently wanted by
the New Orleans Police Department Sex Offender Registration Unit on a
01/14/2022, felony warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender as
he absconded from his last known address in the 2400 block of North
Tonti Street and never updated his residence information. Anderson is
also currently on parole with LA Probation and Parole and a Parole
warrant was issued for his arrest in October 2021 related to a prior
conviction for Simple Robbery and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
He was paroled in June of 2020 and supposed to be on LA Parole until
2023.

08/27/2021, the New Orleans Police Department arrested Anderson for an
alleged domestic violence incident at an apartment in the 6300 block of
Kuebel Street New Orleans. Anderson, who was on parole at the time was
found with a loaded firearm on his person and he was arrested for Felon
in Possession of a Firearm, Resisting Police with Force/Violence, and
Aggravated Assault Upon a Peace Officer. In October of 2021, New Orleans
Police Department also obtained an arrest warrant for Anderson for
Simple Assault and Simple Criminal Damage to Property related to another
alleged domestic violence incident in the 6300 block of Kuebel Street
New Orleans, LA. On 12/14/2021, 41st Judicial District Court Orleans
Parish Criminal District Court issued a capias for his arrest for
Failure to Appear in Court on the August 2021 felony Firearm and
Aggravated Assault Upon a Police Officer case.

Anderson has ties
to New Orleans and the Lafayette, LA area and should be considered armed
and dangerous and he is aware that law enforcement is looking for him.
