MANALAPAN, NJ – According to GasBuddy.com, a consumer gasoline price monitoring website, only four gas stations in all of Monmouth County are selling gas for under $4 per gallon as of noon on Tuesday.

Gas prices across the state have shot up over the $4 mark and are expected to continue, but these stations are the last ones to have raised their prices.

Deals could be had along Route 33 in Monmouth County.

As of noon on Tuesday, Valero on Route 33 in Manalapan was selling gas for $3.89 per gallon. In Ocean Township, Costco, which requires a membership was selling at $3.95 per gallon. The Route 33 Delta station in Neptune was $3.99 and Race Star on Route 33 in Millstone was $3.99.

Gas prices could soon be as high as $5 as Joe Biden’s energy crisis is compounded with the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the concerns of many Americans upset over the country still importing Russian oil to the United States.

Prices across Monmouth County at gas stations ranged between $4.05 and $4.40 on Tuesday.
