Philadelphia man victim of an armed carjacking by suspects driving Mercedes Benz

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A man who was getting gas at a Philadelphia gas station on Wissahickon Avenue was the latest victim of carjacking in the city.

Police said multiple suspects approached the man as he walked back to his car in a Black Mercedes Benz E-Class Wagon with chrome trim around the windows. The car pulled up next to him and a group of males got out and robbed him at gunpoint.

“On Friday, March 11, 2022, at 12:38 am the complainant reported a group of unknown males carjacked him at gunpoint while he was at the gas station at 5901 Wissahickon Ave,” the Philadelphia Police said in a statement. “The complainant stated as he walked back to his car a Black Mercedes Benz E-Class Wagon with chrome trim around the windows pulled up next to him and a group of males got out and robbed him at gunpoint. The offenders took his white BMW and both vehicles fled in the direction of Lincoln Drive.”
