NEW YORK, NY – A disturbing video was released by the New York City Police Department in an attempt to identify several suspects involved in a brutal daylight assault of a father and son.

Video footage released by the department shows a group of suspects pulling up behind a car, exiting their bikes, and pulling a 64-year-old man and his 36-year-old son from their car, beating them both.

The attackers made off with a cell phone, credit cards, and $150 in cash before fleeing the scene. Police said the incident was provoked after the driver allegedly collided with a dirt bike driven through a red light. The driver, fearing for his safety fled the scene.

The incident happened on West 127th Street and ended on St. Nicholas Terrace, two blocks away.
