21-year-old stabbed and killed outside his home during fight in Rockville

ROCKVILLE, MD – A 21-year-old was stabbed and killed outside of his home on Reprise Drive in Rockville on Monday during an altercation with another man, the Rockville Police Department reported.

The incident happened at around 9 p.m. Monday night. When police arrived, they found Deonte Foreman laying on the ground bloodied, and immediately began to administer aid.

“Upon arrival, officers located the adult male victim, Deonte Foreman, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Officers administered aid until Montgomery County Fire Rescue arrived, and he was pronounced dead on the scene,” the Montgomery County Police Department said in a statement.


The suspect, 25-year-old Demarco Rayford of Gaithersburg, was arrested at the scene.

An initial police investigation revealed the victim and Rayford got into an argument, which escalated into a physical altercation. Rayford then stabbed Foreman. Rayford was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit and has been charged with 2nd Degree Murder.
