GAITHERSBURG, MD – Steven Jarezz Adams, 28, of Silver Spring was arrested by detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 6th District Investigative Section in Gaithersburg, where he is being held without bond on indecent exposure charges.

Detectives have been investigating a series of complaints since November 2021 of an individual looking into ground floor sliding glass doors and apartment windows in the Washington Square neighborhood of Gaithersburg, as well as exposing himself to a female victim inside a Gaithersburg apartment building laundry room.

Adams was identified as a suspect during the investigation and probable cause was determined to charge him with indecent exposure via an arrest warrant. There is also an active warrant against Adams for failure to appear in court on a 1st-degree burglary offense.

Detectives have reason to believe Adams has exposed himself to other victims who have not yet come forward. Detectives are urging anyone who believes to be a victim to contact the 6th District Investigative Section at 240-773-5770 or contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous.
