One Shot in Philadelphia after Teen Fired at Pedestrian

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police said one person was shot in the leg after being shot at multiple times by a gunman within a group of teens in the area Cecil B. Moore Avenue.

The shooting took place at  1900 W. Cecil B. Moore Ave on Monday, March 21, 2022.

“The victim was walking alone on the 1900 block of W. Cecil B. Moore Ave and passed a group of juveniles. After passing, one male from the group wearing a hooded sweatshirt fired multiple shots at the victim, striking him once in the left thigh,” the Philadelphia Police Department said in a statement. “The group then fled westbound on Cecil B. Moore Ave on foot. Responding officers transported the victim to a local hospital for medical treatment.”
