Couple Who Used Wawa Bathroom for Drug Use Charged

Lower Moreland Township, PA – A couple who were observed in the bathroom at the Wawa on Philmont Avenue for a long period of time, before leaving discarded syringes on the floor have been charged by police.

“On March 18, 2022, officers responded to Wawa, 2500 Philmont Ave., for a report of a male and female in the bathrooms for an extended period of time and syringes observed on the bathroom floors,” the Lower Moreland Township Police Department said in a statement. “Upon arrival, officers located Jesse Yorgey and Stacey Tejada exiting the store matching the description from the complainant.  After further investigation, both Yorgey & Tejada had active warrants and were subsequently taken into custody.”

While conducting a search, Yorgey was found to be in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, as well as credit cards with unknown names.
